HELLO!! It really seems like I haven't posted a new blog in FOREVER! I have a lot of updates too...well not a lot, but one really good one! Okay...are you ready for it...

I GOT A NEW JOB!!!!

I'm going to be the staffing coordinator at a specialty hospital in the Riverwoods. I'm excited because not only do I get to leave this awful blankity blank place, but I get to work with my mamacita! I know, I know, some of you who know my mom might think that would be a little overwhelming, but not me! I'm so excited to see her everyday!(not to mention she reads this blog too...) So I love you Mom! And really I'm so excited to work with her, and all of the other people too. I met a lot of them when I went in for my interview and they were all really nice and they seem like they will be fun to be around. I start Oct. 9 which is funny because that's the same day that Brian will start his new(old) job.

I'll fill you in on Brian's new(old) job so your not confused. When Brian first came home from his mission he worked for a plumbing company named PJ's, and he worked there until Dec. of 05. Then he got an amazing offer that he couldn't pass up from a family friend who does Government jobs, so he took that job and has been working there until now. But he's been really frustrated with some things that have been going on and how they treat him, and he's been complaining about it for a long time now. Anyway, about two weeks ago the owner of PJ's called Brian because he really wanted Brian to come back and work for them because they are swamped and he offered Brian another amazing deal, so Brian had decided to go back to his old job!! I'm so excited for him and I hope that he loves working for them...this was truly an answer to both of our prayers!

So, I have to go to a dumb meeting, so I have to go. I hope you all enjoy my blog, even though it's not that great.

Classic Disney

Don't you just love the good ole' disney classics? We just got done watching Aladdin, which I must say is one of my favorite movies, right next to The Little Mermaid. I love it. And it seems that they are still coming out with such good wholesome movies for families. Anyway, not much of a blog this time, but Leah was mad that I didn't have anything knew...but I should be mad at her too since she doesn't have anything new either. I guess I'm just the better sister...

I really have nothing to blog, but Leah is upset that I don't have a new blog for today. That must mean she's extremely bored. I shouldn't grant her request since she so rudely hung up on me this morning to talk to Erica...HELLO leah, I'm your sister...just kidding dik, I love you like a sister too!
I know you're all dying to find out how my hair appt. went. Just to let you know, it wasn't that bad. I really like the girl that I go to and last night her husband brought her little boy in, so I played with him while I was waiting for my hair to process. My hair is WAY cute, at least that's what Brian says. Actually, I just think that. All Brian said was "the more blonde you are the darker your face looks, because your face looks really brown right now." I'm not quite sure if that was a compliment or not, but thanks hun!
After I got my hair done I went and hung out with my Dad since my Mom is in Texas right now and my Dad gets lonely when she's gone. So I went and had dinner with him and then I made him watch Dancing with the Stars, The Biggest Loser, and Justice. I'm pretty sure he was in to all of them! After I left him around 9:15pm I went to Brian's church and watched him play basketball. I'm pretty amazed by how good he is. I mean he's no Lance or Blake, but he does his best for being a religious soccer player since he was five. The best part though was watching his dad (he's 71) play and school him! just kidding, that didn't happen. His dad is really good though, I was amazed at how fast and agile he still is for being so old. He also only has 1 eye...I know, it was extremely weird when I first met him. I didn't know where too look, it was a little embarrassing for me, but I really don't even think he noticed.
Anyway, that's pretty much about all I have to say. Oh, I'm going to the Olive Garden tonight!!!! The neverending pasta bowl is back! I've been craving Olive Garden for some time now, so I'm excited that Brian is going to take me out for a little treat. Hopefully, this has entertained you for the mere minute that it took you to read this. Until tomorrow...

I hate rain!

This picture seemed very fitting for the weather today. I'm a little sad that Summer is almost over, it seems that Summer always flys by, but Winter sticks around forever. I'm excited though that Fall is almost here, that means my B-day! Which reminds me, my b-day is one month from today! Just a little reminder for all of you who want to stay on my good side!! Here are just a few of what I'm expecting!!! hahaha...don't worry this is the list that I gave Brian, you should have seen his face! Also, Stephanie's wedding is on my Birthday, so congrats Steph, you only have one more month! Hopefully it will fly by for you. And then the next day is my Grandparents 50th anniversary party!
Anyway, back to the weather. I really hate the rain, I can't think of one thing that I like about it. For someone like me who has naturally wavy hair, it really sucks when it rains and you've taken all morning to do you hair and straighten it and then you walk outside and pouf, as soon as a drop of rain touches your poor little head, it looks as though you stuck your finger in a socket. It really sucks. That's why I didn't do my hair today. I've learned by my many chance happenings with the rain that I should never attempt to do my hair when it's raining. I'm also a little mad because I'm getting my hair done today. And I didn't even get to do my hair. So I know that when they go to style it, they're going to style it in an ugly way that I don't ever do to my hair. They do this because they don't know how I usually style my hair, they don't know that I don't like it round brushed or curled with the curling iron, the only way I like my hair is straight. And they're not going to know that because I didn't get to do it because of the STUPID rain.ARRRGH! Just to let you know I do love storms though, but I haven't seen a good lightning storm in some time. That's another reason that makes me upset. What is the point of the rain if there is no lightning? Well, I'm not stupid I know the point of rain, but I just want lightning along with it. That's all I'm asking, and it's not much. But it has yet to happen today. Actually, if it has happened than I wouldn't know, because most of you don't know that I work in a room with NO windows. I know, another thing that really makes me not just mad, but pissed! Why would you stick your customer service reps in a room with no windows? That's a question that I ask myself almost daily. Wouldn't you want to keep us happy? I mean we do talk to rounchy people all day who sit and yell and call us names, and swear at me for nothing. And I don't even get a window...I'm a little pissed about that.
Well, hopefully you've all learned a little something about my life from this blog. I know you'll probably just take out of this that I'm mad at the World today. But I'm not, actually I'm in a very good mood!! In a great mood actually! Peace out!

I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!

I love my little guys so much! They make me so happy. Last night I got to see Talmage for the 1st time in FOREVER, maybe because they went to California then I went to Lake Powell, but I missed him so much. My day just isn't the same when I don't get to talk to him or see him. He's so cute and so full of energy, it makes me want to be a kid again.
I babysat Atticus the other night, and boy has he changed SO much. I remember the 1st time I babysat him, he was probably 1 month old and he screamed at the top of his lungs the entire time. When I was through I really thought I was going crazy. But the other night he was so cute. He cried for about 1 minute when Katie and Lance left and then he was fine. He was so content to just play or watch Elmo, or go outside and "mow" the lawn with his little toy lawn mower. And everytime he wanted something he would walk over to me and grab my finger and drag me along to wherever he wanted to go. He also has the most contagious laugh, I love him so much and it's amazing to see how much both of my little guys are growing.
Then there is Hunter, or HuntDee as Brian likes to call him. I have yet to see him in person, but isn't he the cutest little thing. I can't believe he's already a week old. And he's a spitting image of Blake when he was a baby. I can't wait to see him in a month when I get to go there for his blessing. I'm so sad that they don't live closer for me to just go and see them whenever I want. It makes me wonder if he's even going to know who I am when he gets bigger. Oh well, I'm sure Blake and Becca will do a good job on raising him and making sure that he knows who his favorite Aunt is!
Well that's about it, but I just have to say, aren't you all proud of me for posting some pictures! Even though it took me a few hours, I finally did it!

The beginning

Well, I've succumbed to starting my own blog. At first I really didn't want to, I mean honestly who is really interested in reading my random thoughts and deep dark secrets! But then I figured it would be a blessing to be able to pass by the boring hours at work. So this is it, I'm not quite sure what I'm doing, but I'm going to attempt it. And since I don't know how to download pictures, I probably won't have any. I will go home tonight though and see if I can figure it out.
So about me, currently I'm living with in my Grandparents basement. Two and 1/2 years ago I thought I was only moving in temporarily, but now it seems I'm in for the long haul! I work at a place called Professional Marketing International and have been working there for almost 3 years. I am desperately trying to find a new job, since I'm a little sick of this one. The love of my life is Brian, and I've been dating him for over a year (I know!) I would be married to him by now if it was up to me, he keeps assuring me we'll be married by this time next year, so I really hope so. I spend pretty much all of my spare time with him. He's a plumber and is in his last year of plumbing school!!!! Wahoo, he'll be making the big bucks next year! Just kidding, that's really not what I think about. I'm almost 23! I can't believe I'm that old.
I'm really bad at this, I don't know what else to write.
I have 3 nephews now! Talmage is 3 1/2, Atticus is 2 1/2, and Hunter is 6 days old! I love being an Aunt, it's so much fun!
